While every heroin character from Disney movie looks almost the same, Disney movie heroes are bold, different, unique and have different heroic powers in them. They are judged not by their looks but by their strength, power and character! They are the characters who are always brave and who have performed many acts or deeds of heroism. The top 10 Disney heroes which every guy adored are as follows.

10. Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet)-

He might not be popular, but for many of us he is undeniably a dynamic character who surely deserves to be in this list. No doubt there are many people out there in the real world who can relate to him. His parents were divorced which led to his mother’s destroyed inn. He leaves on the quest for treasure planet to find treasure to make his mother proud. But on his way, he met many betrayers, especially john silver that sort of took as a father figure for him, but used him as a way to get the treasure. But beyond all odds he was able to defeat his tragic past and earn success for himself. Jim through his quick thinking and being savior of his friends and ship from destruction proves to be the ultimate hero of the movie!

9. Simba (The Lion King)-

The protagonist of the movie, Simba is shown rising from a prince to the king. His evil uncle scar plans to kill him and his father so as to rule the kingdom himself. He manages to kill his father but Simba manages to escape into the jungle. He was saved by timon and pumbaa, a carefree pair of friends, who taught Simba problem free way of their life. Years later when he grows older he finds his childhood friend Nala, who force him to come back and save their kingdom which was being destroyed by his uncle scar, the ruler. After visiting his father’s spirit he finally decides to challenge scar and take his rightful place as the king of the Pridelands. He triumphs over scar when he gets to know that scar killed his father. As he killed his evil uncle scar and restored peace in Pridelands, he is our hero!

8. Woody (Toy story)-

A great cowboy doll with a drawstring, Woody is really a loyal toy that has been Andy’s favorite toy since kindergarten. He is determined, passionate and would do anything for his dearest and closest friends. He and his other friends (other toys) face many problems, including the rejection from Andy. But as the main protagonist, at the end of the day he triumphs over them and tries to save his friends from all the problems. The relation between Andy and Woody is truly priceless.  Woody is a great character because he comes to realize what is important in life and lives accordingly.

7. Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story)-

Buzz Lightyear may be just a toy, but he is one of the coolest heroes of all time! Buzz, who believes himself to be the real space ranger, tries to contact star command. He also believed that he wouldn’t be able to breathe with his helmet off and he has to take care of his damaged spaceship to go back in the space. His star command laser and his flying ability make him super cool hero. Soon he becomes favorite toy of Andy and favorite hero of audience.

6. John Carter (John Carter)-

The great warrior of all time and gold hunter John Carter has to attend the funeral of his uncle after his sudden death. He receives from John Carter’s attorney his diary and weird instructions to be followed, and Edgar immediately starts reading the journal. In 1868, the Colonel Powell tries to force John Carter to join the army to fight against the Apache and arrests him. However, John Carter escapes. While there he encounters someone who is holding some kind of medallion. When Carter touches it, he finds himself in a place where he can leap incredible heights, among other things. He later encounters beings he has never seen before. Later he meets a woman who helps him to discover that he is on Mars. And he learns there’s some kind of unrest going on. Fighting all the villains he finally emerges as the hero.

5. Mowgli (The Jungle Book)-

Mowgli is found in a basket by a group of wolves. He grows up with the rest of the pups, and becomes well-acquainted with the jungle and its creatures. When the Shere Kahn arrives in the jungle, they realize that Mowgli must be taken to the man village at last, to protect him and those around him. Mowgli doesn’t like to get banished, and when he meets the fun-loving, Baloo and learns the fun of being a bear, Mowgli refuses to leave. Later, Mowgli is kidnapped by a gang of monkeys and taken to their leader, King Louie, who demands Mowgli to tell the secret of making fire. He doesn’t believe Mowgli when he says he doesn’t know how to make fire, and then Baloo arrives to rescue him. Baloo in his heart realizes that the safest and best place for Mowgli is indeed the man village. Though he didn’t fought big villains but he surely fought his way to live in the jungle and so he is a hero for many children.

4. Tarzan (Tarzan)-

He is based on the legendary hero Tarzan, who was raised by gorillas in the wilds of Africa. He realizes he’s different, but with the encouragement of Kala, and the moral support of his friends- Terk the fun-loving ape and Tantor the neurotic elephant, Tarzan grows confident and resourceful, taking care of and protecting himself, his friends, and his family. When humans appear in the jungle, Tarzan immediately gets drawn to them, particularly the female, Jane. After saving Jane from other animals, he finds someone truly like him and starts to feel for her. After knowing the evil plan of Clayton he fights against him and decides to stay in the jungle. Jane too decided to live Tarzan.

3. Mr. Incredible (The Incredibles)-

He is a true hero and people like him so much, maybe because they can relate him as his father. Every child sees his father as a true hero. The same feeling gets generated when people sees Mr. incredible! He not only has interesting character but also his super power makes him as cool as possible. In the movie, his is born with the super powers and is usually famous for working alone. But later on he meets and fell in love with super heroine Elasticgirl. Soon they wed and start having a family. Even though they try to spend their lives like a normal person but what can I say, the world eventually needs its hero to save it from the villains!

2. Hercules (Hercules)-

A Greek hero, Hercules lived in small town. Having superhuman strength that causes a lot of havoc, Hercules truly feels like he’s meant to be somewhere else. Hercules father tells him of the medallion they found on him when they found him, and Hercules feels this need to go the Zeus’ temple and talk with Zeus. Zeus tells Hercules he’s his father and to join him in Olympus he must become a “true hero”. After training from his mentor, he defeats every monster he faces, all are sent by the very evil Hades. Hades, who kidnapped Hercules and made him moral, wants Hercules gone because of prophesy told to him that a hero will one day defeat him. Hades know Hercules weakness, Meg his lover, and used her to defeat him. Hercules saves Meg and by doing so Hercules finally reaches his hero status.  It’s at the end when Hercules finally can live in Mount Olympus or choose to stay with the mortals (a.k.a. with Meg). Hercules decides to stay with Meg like a boss!

1. Aladdin (Aladdin)-

The hero who has won many hearts! He is street rat, who steals what he needs to survive but also share it with the needy. He is kind hearted but also poor who lives with a monkey named Abu. He falls in love with the princess jasmine. Jafar, the main villain finds out that Aladdin is the only person who can bring the lamp out of the cave. So he sends him into the cave and betrays him by careening him back to the cave. Abu manages to take lamp from Jafar. By rubbing the lamp he released a blue genie who promised to fulfill Aladdin his 3 wishes. Aladdin’s character has shown that he has real heart; he is also quick to come to the defense of others and is a smart and agile opponent when forced into a confrontation.

Ultimately, Aladdin becomes a true hero and saves the city of Agrabah from the villainous Jafar while winning the heart of Princess Jasmine.
